Blue Triangle (Glasgow) Housing Association Ltd was set
up in 1975. Today the Association offers support to males and females
of all ages and all degrees of social exclusion.
Since setting up, the Association has grown steadily and now works in
partnership with nine local authorities, managing 25 supported living
accommodation projects.
The aim of B.T.H.A is to prepare single homeless people for independence
and the objectives are:-
- To offer a safe and secure environment
for the period of time that a resident is living in the project
- To provide a quality service compatible
with the assessed needs of the resident
- To maximise the opportunities for the
resident to develop both in terms of acquiring/consolidating skills
and abilities and the building up of
self-esteem
- To regularly monitor the resident's
development
- To assess, plan and assist the process
of securing appropriate follow-on accommodation for each resident
