40th Anniversary Event

At the event we had service users who had created 2 fashion looks - fashions of the past and futuristic looks. The 4 service users were our first service users to take part and complete the Community Achievement Awards. They were presented with their awards on the day.

We had poems and stories (written by service users) read out eloquently by Anas and Tasha on the day. These pieces were very emotive.

Our former Chief Executive, Cath Campbell joined us to tell us about the origins of Blue Triangle. We also were very honoured to have an ex-service user, Stevie McLean, tell us about his positive journey through Blue Triangle and how it shaped his life today.

Fiona Stringfellow (Chief Executive) launched our new logo and new look website.

Fiona also introduced a new partnership between Blue Triangle and Glasgow Kelvin College with the help of Craig Green (Head of Community & Information Services).

On display at the event there was beautiful art work, jewellery and other craft items all created within our projects.

Ian Batt (Operations Director) spoke about the work we do now with the help of two of our service users, Emma and William.

There was a fantastic and inspiring performance from our very own band - Pure Gallus!! Made up of staff and service users. they stole the show with their renditions of "Wake Me Up" and "I'm On My Way".

It was a fantastic event that we felt very proud of and would like to thank all who came along and shared the day with us and for those who couldn't make it we hope this slide show helps you get an idea of what a wonderful afternoon it was.
