Billy, 20, Hamilton

After a work placement at Parkhead Football grounds, Billy gained new skills & confidence he never thought he had. Listen to billy tell you about his experience and how the placement gained him employment. Billy now feels more confident about achieving a full time job in New Year and has big aspirations. We couldn't feel prouder of him!

Callum, 22, Portwell Hamilton

Callum completed our My New Home course in August 2015. The course helps our service users gain the skills required for independent living in their own tenancies. Callum learned a lot from the course and really enjoyed the experience. Also, good news for Callum - he moved in to his own flat in October 2015 (pictured) where he feels the course has helped him with things such as budgeting and where to source furniture. Olivia, 22, Musselburgh

Olivia recently traveled to Borneo with Raleigh International where she helped teach kids about health and hygiene as well as working on building projects to improve conditions there.
On her return she had a clearer idea of what she would like to do with her life and even though homeless herself, she found herself feeling more fortunate than some of the residents in Borneo she met. Read more
