Charity Fight Night raises funds for Blue Triangle HamiltonFormer service user of Hamilton Project, Toto Zaid, recently contacted us with the fantastic news that he was arranging a boxing event to raise funds for the service as a way of saying thank you for the support he received during his year long stay between 2005/2006. Furthermore, Zaid himself was risking life and limb by putting his amateur boxing skills to the test and stepping in to the ring at the event on Saturday 5th March 2016 at the Alona Hotel in Motherwell. STV Glasgow News Report 7 Oct 2015On Wednesday 7 October STV Glasgow aired a news report on Blue Triangle.
In the studio Fiona Stringfellow (Chief Executive) was joined by Alan Sherry (Principal of Glasgow Kelvin College) to talk about a new partnership which will see Blue Triangle deliver the college Community Achievement Awards in house. There is also a video of Diane Murphy, a service user from East Kilbride who took part in the 40th Anniversary event, along with her key worker Nicola Aitken. Diane completed her Community Achievement Awards and was presented with her certificate on the day of the event. Read more

Community Achievement Awards2015 sees the launch of a new partnership between Blue Triangle and Glasgow Kelvin College. We will be working in partnership to deliver Community Achievement Awards to our service users. This was an initiative which was created by the Community Learning team at the college and through discussions with them we realised these awards would fit perfectly with our service users and give them the flexibility they need that mainstream education routes don’t always allow.
